WhatsApp tests a feature to automatically delete messages after seeing them once
WhatsApp is working to provide more features in its application to
enhance its presence as the most popular messaging application, this time with
a rather strange feature that aims to automatically delete sent messages once
they are read from the receiver even only once.
WhatsApp is now testing the new View Once feature for users of the Android
operating system, and for some users it can be viewed through a new icon
containing a temporary shape.
This feature is added to the list of features available in the application,
especially the feature of automatically deleting messages after sending them
within 7 days for that.
The feature of deleting messages within 7 days differs from View Once, as it
provides the messages as they are until the specified deletion date, while the
new feature deletes messages automatically as soon as the application is
closed after reading them.
